I'm building the brand I always wished existed.

I got tired of the mainstream giants selling blank clothes with a meaningless logo slapped on the front, then charging $60 for a t-shirt. I wanted to build a real alternative for Christians. Clothing we can actually wear.

I also wanted to do something different with the money. Instead of pouring profit into the wrong things, or just keeping it all for myself, HEVN puts a portion of what it earns toward funding God's kingdom and bringing a little more of it down to earth.

More than anything, HEVN is about taking care of God's people. Great clothes, a great experience, good customer support, none of the garbage. I build for the people, the quality, and the experience. Not for margins, not for investors, not for an exit.

The full story

two years ago

It started about two years ago. I had a job, and I had a business, and one day I felt God telling me to quit that business. I want to be honest about this part. I never got some big, specific calling. God didn't tell me to go start a Christian clothing brand.

the fast

What actually happened is simpler. I fasted for two days, and somewhere in there I just felt like I wanted to start a Christian clothing brand. The thought wouldn't leave my head. It wasn't a Moses and the burning bush moment, and I've made peace with the fact that it didn't have to be. So I went at it with faith.

week two

I started with about a thousand dollars from my savings. That money was gone in roughly two weeks. 😂 I basically had nothing left. But I kept going anyway, still trusting that God had me on this for a reason.

today

Two years later, I'm still here. Still building. And honestly, I'm just trusting God and letting Him decide what happens and how it happens. All I'm really doing is asking for prayer, and praying myself, that I stay in His will no matter what.
